Our extra special boy Barnaby is approximately five years old and a rather large cross breed with the appearance of a hound. Barnaby weighs twenty nine kilos and measures twenty inches from shoulder to paw. Having been surrendered by his former owners as no longer able to keep Barnaby has been in our Cyprus shelter for a little over six months.
Our shelter manager is head over heels in love with Barnaby describing him as a quite unique gentle giant. She continues that Barnaby is in total control of his emotions and movements. He is loving, loyal , affectionate and empathetic. Barnaby cares about others around and is just so affable.
His demeanour is sublime and he oozes gentility. Any very fortunate adopting family looking for a dog of stature could really do no better. Barnaby’ s appearance is second to none and will surely turn many heads whilst out walking.
Barnaby walks really well on his lead and thoroughly enjoys his time in the car. He seems to mix perfectly well with other dogs , cats and children.
