Our extra special girl Lola is approximately five years old and a German Shepherd dog or thereabouts. Lola weighs twenty-five kilos and measures eighteen inches from shoulder to paw. She was a much-loved dog by her family who had to leave the country under the most tragic circumstances. Hence Lola has been in our Cyprus shelter for over six months.
Our shelter manager describes Lola as highly intelligent, loving and loyal. She has the most delightful disposition and an adorable nature. Lola responds to basic demands and will sit on demand. She will gaze at her food bowl until instructed to eat. Lola has settled really well into shelter life and has forged many endearing relationships.
Her amazing tricolour is beautifully enhanced by her white tips. Lola is an absolute star and the perfect adoption candidate for a very fortunate adopting family.
Lola walks nicely on her lead after a short period of excitement. She seems to mix perfectly well with other dogs, cats and children. Lola is such a prize.
