Queenie
Our extra special girl Queenie is approximately five years old and a medium sized cross breed hound. Queenie weighs nineteen kilos and measures fifteen inches from shoulder to paw. She has been in our Cyprus shelter for one month having been found abandoned in the Troodos mountains.
Queenie is more than visually stunning. Her tricolour coat is adorable and this is magnificently enhanced with an array of polka dots and brindle. Her facial expression is inquisitive but emphatic.
Queenie’s nature is beautiful, and she is incredibly calm. She has a natural gentility about her and it’s an absolute pleasure to be in her company. An affable and inspiring companion. And especially those lovely penetrating eyes and nearly unique ears. Such an ideal adoption candidate.
Queenie walks nicely on her lead. She seems to mix perfectly well with other dogs and children. However, Queenie is intimidated easily by cats and would not be suited to live with felines.
